Passive PoE™ Set enables to merge the power supply and data to one Ethernet cable, supply them to the devices and split back to data and power.

Authentic Power Over Ethernet
Passive PoE™ is a simple way of providing power for an access point on the roof. Passive PoE™ uses free wires in the Ethernet cable and sends the equipment's power along them to the far end. Over a short distance, its usually possible to use the power adapter supplied as standard with the access point or with other network elements which we wish to connect along the Ethernet cable. If the loss of the voltage on the wiring along longer lengths of Ethernet cable is too high, it is possible to use another more powerful power adapter, to eliminate this loss of voltage.

This PassivePoE™ is our original solution. Avoid using low-cost or anonymous copies in order to avoid the risk of damaging your device. We deliver Injector only or Whole Set, both using standard 5.5×2.1 mm DC power jack.

How It Works
The complete Passive PoE™ over Ethernet - SET contains two pieces INJECTOR and SPLITTER. It is suitable for using with products that basically do not support Power Over Ethernet. Passive Power Over Ethernet - SET is applicable for wide range of network products such as Access Points, Routers, IP cameras, modems, switches, embedded computers or other network devices.

Devices can be supplied standardly up to 50V. The power adapter is not included - it is possible to use the power adapter of the powered device as access point, IP camera etc. Passive PoE™ `s range is normally from 30-40 meters / 100-130 ft. The real distance depends on the power supply, type of cable and powered device.

Panel Installation
Our Passive PoE™ allows easy integration of the Ethernet connection into face plates or panels of your devices. We provide schematic of cut-out you need to create in the panel. Installation is easy: simple insert-and turn system.
